Today, we will go over two ridiculously easy ways to implement diet fasting into your life to burn fat right off your belly.
1. Intermittent Fasting.
We naturally fast each day from dinner until breakfast (break-fast… get it?).
Intermittent fasting simply extends this fasting period and shortens your eating window.
In most cases, you eat your first meal at around 8am, then eat your daily meals, and finish with a snack at around 8pm. 12 hours of eating.
During intermittent fasting you reduce this window of eating to 8 hours. That’s all it is. Simple.
Most people choose a window of 12pm-8pm.
By doing this, you reduce the amount of food you eat without having to overthink it. You can still eat your three meals and snacks, but it’s all within 8 hours. This leaves you feeling extremely full and satisfied.
Naturally, you end up eating less.
And losing fat.
2. The Accelerator Day.
One day of the week, you fast.
On this day you keep your calories to an absolute minimum.
The rest of the week you can eat exactly as you normally would.
This works because you’re eating so few calories on one day of the week that you put yourself into an energy deficit (fat-burning mode). Even though the other six days are normal.
The average of all the days become less because of the one low day.
On the accelerator day you eat lean chicken, veggies, soups and low calorie foods.
It’s a super simple way to accelerate fat loss. It requires you to flex your willpower muscle for just one day of the week.
Fasting works for people who are busy and don’t have time to count calories. Instead of adding things to you’re already overflowing schedule, you’re taking things away.
