Congratulations to this power couple who have dominated the 2014 Winter 40 Days of Fitness. After both putting on some winter kg's this was the perfect motivation to kick start their summer body early. Both had a plan to follow a healthy balanced calorie controlled eating plan, with the focus of keeping active every day!
Will lost an amazing 8kgs throughout the challenge bringing his now total weight loss to 30kg!! Will attended 2 PT sessions per week, 2 Walk/Runs at home on the treadmill plus purchasing a new road bike Will cycled once a week up to 20km. Also being a bridge instructor and constantly being on his feet teaching allowed for extra steps to be recorded on his Fitbit easily hitting his daily goal of 10,000 steps per day! Vanessa lost 5.9kgs throughout the challenge, she credits her success to following a balanced healthy diet, upping the anti in the gym by doing 4 PT sessions a week (2 weights, 2 boxing) and we can't forget her 4-5 low-mod effort treadmill sessions at home whilst watching episodes of Downton Abbey :) great innovative way to make exercise fun, add on to this a 20km cycle every week Vanessa was easily able to hit her daily target of 15,000 steps on the Fitbit.
